Why Exhibit?
photosChina’s Telecom Market Heats Up!In terms of both network capacity and total number of subscribers, China has the highest concentration of fixed-line and mobile networks in the world. Competition is on the rise in China’s telecommunications sector as the major carriers – CHINA TELECOMCHINA NETCOM, and CHINA MOBILE – strive for network expansion and increased services.

Sales projections for service providers and equipment manufacturers eager to do business in China are even more promising. China’s domestic manufacturers can’t possibly keep pace with the rapid growth of the telecommunications/IT market in China. As a result, more than 75% of the carrier class switching technology purchased in China is imported.

Network Expansion in China

A $60 Billion Dollar Market with 880 Million Fixed Line Subscribers, 500 Million Mobile Subscribers, and 150 Million Internet Subscribers

CHINA TELECOM and CHINA NETCOM: The two industry leaders in wireline connections, both have their own nationwide networks utilizing SDH and ATM for traditional voice and data transmission, and ADSL, FTTH and Ethernet to photosprovide Internet access.

CHINA MOBILE: The industry leader in mobile communications, operates the world’s largest GSM networks, as well as provides CDMA, GPRS and WAP services to cell phone users.

China’s telecom sector will create huge profits for equipment manufacturers and service providers

China’s Ministry of Information Industry (MII), the national government administration that regulates the telecom sector, expects the number of cellular users in China to reach 500 million, with a nationwide penetration rate of 41.6%. As subscriber recruitment levels climb higher year after year, Chinese telecom carriers expect to generate combined annual revenues of $60 billion dollars.

JOIN EXPO COMM CHINA 2008, the technology hub of Asia

The largest telecom industry event in Asia returns to Beijing with 550 exhibiting companies from 20 nations and more than 190,000 attendees from China and throughout the Pacific Rim.

EXPO COMM CHINA is your connection to this global market.

Technical Seminar Program

A program of technical seminars will be run in conjunction with the Exhibition and separate from the Conference Program/Forum. Each exhibiting company will have the opportunity to participate through application. The technical seminar program is the interactive platform for exhibitors to give a more detailed orientation on its new technology, products, and services. Seminar program information including seminar schedule, topics, company and speakers will be published in the show catalogue, official website, show preview/show guide and on-site signage. The venue of technical seminars will be located in the NCIEC. Due to the limited availability of meeting rooms, all seminar applications will be processed on a “first come, first served” basis.

The timing for each seminar session is restricted to 2.5 hours. Within this time limit the Exhibitor is free to arrange its agenda for presentation as well as question and answer time. Each meeting room can hold 40-50 audience members. To achieve optimum results, the exhibitor should make their own efforts to contact and invite their target audience.

The unique advantage of this seminar is your company’s freedom not only to introduce, but promote your products and technologies. This advantage will greatly increase your exposure and create an informed potential client base for your company to target. As this seminar is run independently from the Forum, it will give your company a strong advantage over your competitors.

Each seminar session is priced at US$1,500 for exhibitors and US$2,500 for non exhibitors. Please submit this application no later than August 24, 2008. The Show Organizer will notify each speaking company of its seminar timing and meeting room number once the seminar schedule is completed. This is a great, all-inclusive opportunity as your company will pay a one-time fee and receive all the following benefits: Business Suite rental, meeting room facilities (overhead projector, writing board, screen, podium, and chairs), and general promotion campaign. If the exhibitors require additional equipment or facilities outside the list of the items provided by the Service Building, (e.g. multi-media projector), they will need to provide their own or rent the equipment at their own cost.

The Exhibition will not offer language translation service for the technical seminar program. The show organizer strongly recommends that the exhibitors arrange the translation themselves.
